A Day on The Farm
Total cost depends on the number attending the tour (ranging from £25 to £30
per head), and we like to keep groups to between 8 and 10 persons where possible. We can arrange for smaller groups but the
relative cost per person may be higher.

Help
milk the cows, and feed the calves. Watch the cream being separated and then pasturise some milk, hand roll some butter
and pot up some cream to take home. Taste some of the farm produce, and explore the fields - looking out for the wildlife
(both flora and fauna) and checking on any livestock (i.e. dry cows/pigs) on the way.
A typical
day will run from 9 am until 3pm and follow the schedule below:
9:00 arrive
9:30 - 10:30 : Farm Session including
milking and feeding calves
10:30 - 10:45 : watch cream separation
10:45- 11:15 : feed pigs and pick up eggs
11:15 : wash hands
11:30 : Tea Break
11:45- 12:45 : creamery session including pasturising milk and hand
rolling butter
12:45 : wash hands
13:00 - 14:00 : Tasting session (mini lunch)
14:00-15:00
